August 13. 2017
A "should have been" a day to make a history. But what happen?
Bikers from different places up north like Valenzuela, Bulacan, Pampanga, and from down south, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Batangas, Laguna and other parts of Metro Manila, we all gathered together to be part of the WORLD HISTORY, we out-numbered the 1,186 bikers in Bangladesh by 4,200 Filipino Bikers.

Preparation.

The Event "Bike History - Bike ride from historical landmarks to World Trade Center Manila" has been posted more than a month before the said event date by Jhay Galang https://www.facebook.com/jhay.galang.9. That's why every bike group leaders invited and gathered all their members to participate in the event. who doesn't want to be part of the history, no one right? It's a long preparation for every group. During that day, we woke up early and together and ride out at 5:00 in the morning and pedal our way to WTC. We arrived before 6:30 in the morning, we are early birds! Hooray! We registered our group and individual members. Some bikers who want to have freebies and want to go inside WTC are required to pay a sum of 500 pesos. I just don't know how many have paid or should I say, how many have been scammed, are you one of them?

So what really happen?

It's already 9:00 in the morning and we're still stuck up outside. No one is giving instructions on what to do, what not and what will happen next. No organizer can be seen outside, no microphones, no stage, no speakers. Nothing at all! just so many bikers that are ready to be grilled under the heat of the sun. Our stomachs are getting angry, we are all hungry. So we decided to go outside the parking lot and find food to eat. While cycling outside the vicinity, we saw our fellow bikers biking together in group, so we decided to come back to WTC because we think it's already the start of the much-awaited ride of the World History, at last! But while waiting for our turn to be inserted in the long queue of bikers, a fellow biker came to us and told us that the ride has already been started. Like what?! we've been waiting for hours in the parking lot for nothing. What happen? Hmm, I think the paid bikers were the priorities. But nevertheless, there should be a proper coordination and organization. There's no program to follow at all, all vehicles outside are getting angry to the bikers due to the traffic created.

What should have been done?

There should be a proper program flow. The roads outside WTC should have been blocked to other vehicles, it should have been exclusively open for bikers only. There should be a host or emcee or organizer that is responsible for giving instructions on what to do and the likes. But there's nothing, there's nothing at all. We are all disappointed.

Result?

Almost all bikers who joined the event were angry to Jhay Galang, the person responsible for this shit, oh sorry Jhay, you're really in trouble now. You make us all angry to you! it should be a great day to make a history, but it all turns out to be a misery.

Oh congratulations, by the way, your name is so "MABANGO" in the community of the History Con, you did it Jhay! Great Endeavor huh? wow! It's so nice of you! But you cannot get away from us, from all the bikers you have bump, from all the bikers you have caused pain, from all the bikers who travel long just to be part of your so called History ride. Congratulations once again!

Your sorry is not enough sir Jhay Galang, please tell us more.

So the event ended to be the biggest TamBIKE in the Philippine History ever. Thanks to my group "Las Piñas Mountain Bike Group" thanks for being organized. And to all bikers who joined the event, Kudos to us all! We can really say that we are all united as one. Thank you. We did it. We're part of the Histerrifc Con. LOL.
