August 13. 2017
A "should have been" a day to make a history. But what happen?
Bikers from different places up north like Valenzuela, Bulacan, Pampanga, and from down south, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Batangas, Laguna and other parts of Metro Manila, we all gathered together to be part of the WORLD HISTORY, we out-numbered the 1,186 bikers in Bangladesh by 4,200 Filipino Bikers.

Preparation.

The Event "Bike History - Bike ride from historical landmarks to World Trade Center Manila" has been posted more than a month before the said event date by Jhay Galang https://www.facebook.com/jhay.galang.9. That's why every bike group leaders invited and gathered all their members to participate in the event. who doesn't want to be part of the history, no one right? It's a long preparation for every group. During that day, we woke up early and together and ride out at 5:00 in the morning and pedal our way to WTC. We arrived before 6:30 in the morning, we are early birds! Hooray! We registered our group and individual members. Some bikers who want to have freebies and want to go inside WTC are required to pay a sum of 500 pesos. I just don't know how many have paid or should I say, how many have been scammed, are you one of them?

So what really happen?

It's already 9:00 in the morning and we're still stuck up outside. No one is giving instructions on what to do, what not and what will happen next. No organizer can be seen outside, no microphones, no stage, no speakers. Nothing at all! just so many bikers that are ready to be grilled under the heat of the sun. Our stomachs are getting angry, we are all hungry. So we decided to go outside the parking lot and find food to eat. While cycling outside the vicinity, we saw our fellow bikers biking together in group, so we decided to come back to WTC because we think it's already the start of the much-awaited ride of the World History, at last! But while waiting for our turn to be inserted in the long queue of bikers, a fellow biker came to us and told us that the ride has already been started. Like what?! we've been waiting for hours in the parking lot for nothing. What happen? Hmm, I think the paid bikers were the priorities. But nevertheless, there should be a proper coordination and organization. There's no program to follow at all, all vehicles outside are getting angry to the bikers due to the traffic created.

What should have been done?

There should be a proper program flow. The roads outside WTC should have been blocked to other vehicles, it should have been exclusively open for bikers only. There should be a host or emcee or organizer that is responsible for giving instructions on what to do and the likes. But there's nothing, there's nothing at all. We are all disappointed.

Result?

Almost all bikers who joined the event were angry to Jhay Galang, the person responsible for this shit, oh sorry Jhay, you're really in trouble now. You make us all angry to you! it should be a great day to make a history, but it all turns out to be a misery.

Oh congratulations, by the way, your name is so "MABANGO" in the community of the History Con, you did it Jhay! Great Endeavor huh? wow! It's so nice of you! But you cannot get away from us, from all the bikers you have bump, from all the bikers you have caused pain, from all the bikers who travel long just to be part of your so called History ride. Congratulations once again!

Your sorry is not enough sir Jhay Galang, please tell us more.

So the event ended to be the biggest TamBIKE in the Philippine History ever. Thanks to my group "Las Piñas Mountain Bike Group" thanks for being organized. And to all bikers who joined the event, Kudos to us all! We can really say that we are all united as one. Thank you. We did it. We're part of the Histerrifc Con. LOL.

Masakit ang First Time

Pasok pa din nang naka bisikleta, bike is life kasi

1. Ang lakas ng lindol, nakakatakot.
2. Be safe everyone.
4. And any other stuffs related to lindol.

Meron ding mga hashtag king and queens, I know you know what I mean.

Pamilya muna.

Just my few cents.

Bakit Parang Invisible Ang Mga Bisikleta Sa Kalsada?

                                         LMBG Nuvali Ride

                                          LMBG Wawa Dam Ride

Ride safe!

Top 6 Reasons why Everyone Should Bike to Work

It's me on my uniform, but I didn't go to work like this. Wear proper attire guys.

My first ever picture of biking to work. Taken last year, somewhere in November.

Oh! it's work day again, are you feeling not so excited to go to work because of the heavy traffic caused by lots of public vehicles in the Philippines? Does it make your head aches? Does it make you just stay in your home and be with your pillow and bed? Why not bike to work? Here are some reasons why you should do it now.

  1. Fitness
Biking or cycling is a form of exercise, just like jogging and running, it could burn lots of calories and fats, it lowers blood pressure, build muscles, boosts energy, it also improves cardiovascular and aerobic fitness. It has a lot of good benefits to do with your health. No more time to exercise? Go for a bike to work.
  1. Fun and Happiness
Biking is so fun to do. It feels like you teleport to the past and brings back your childhood memories of biking around your place with your friends. If you are doing something fun, it would generate happiness within you. Biking every day to work can reduce stress and anxiety and it could boost self-confidence.
  1. Brainpower
Biking can make your brain sharp and make you smarter. It can improve overall brain performance, it can make you think fast and well. I guess it could make you a better employee too, am I right?
  1. Money
Biking does not require a fuel because you won't be needing your car anymore, you will be able to save a lot of money, biking to work is a fare free activity and hobby. I guess you know that already.

  1. Convenience
Biking could make you get to work early, it's a hassle free activity because you won't go through the hell of traffic on the road, parking won't be a problem too, the bike doesn't need a large parking space. Oh, do not forget to bring your bike lock with you.

  1. Freedom
You just don't know how it feels when you are on your two wheels. You will feel free, free from stress and other headaches caused by different stressors of the world. You can also go and roam around your city after work with your bike, you can stop for a coffee or dinner at your speed and pace. Sometimes, you will meet someone like you, it may be a person or a group of people with the same hobby.

Are you ready to be happy and free? Bike to work now. Tell us your experiences.
Oopps do not forget to wear safety gears. Happy biking!

You'll Learn How to Let Go

Wawa Dam Ride, San Mateo Rizal

Here we are again, another long ride for the weekend. April 9, 2017. We ride out at exactly 5 am at 711 BF resort, where we usually meet every time the group has a ride. We pass through CAA Road, then Sucat Road and we take Valley One, and then we exited to SM Bicutan until we reached the Laguna Lake Highway formerly known as C6 Road. Gosh C6 is like a trail, dusty and has a rough road, But everything went well when reached our destination! a beautiful and scenic Wawa Dam.

This is C6 Road, I have a short video of this ride, but couldn't upload, it says "file too large" haha so never mind, let's be contented with this picture anyway.

So we arrive there, there's no entrance fee I think? because no one asks from us. We only had to pay for our bike parking which is 10 pesos only, not bad right?

Cottage rate is 200 pesos. Not so big, not so small, just enough for 15 people.

There is also a videoke or kareoke where aspiring singers and music lovers can sing, for only 5 pesos per song, you don't need to encode your song because someone will do it for you, she's kind, you'll feel like a queen or king, and her brow is on fleek! hahaha hi ate :-) Please don't be mad at me if you read this.

The water is so deep, but you can swim as long as you can control your breathing and of course you should know how to float, for you to be safe.

This is the perfect view of the Dam.

Woop, at first I was afraid to jump or swim, I am imaging Anaconda around and under the water.

Ohh sexy back? Not really, nice for the stolen shot Thine. What was I thinking here? "Come on let's go, let's go to the other side"

And there I am, I really swam across the horizon hahaha

Here's a short poem from me to you

And here's my other group from north side..

Las Piñas Mountain Bike Group meets Team Padyak Gear United and VMTB
Wawa Dam Ride
April 9, 2017

Magkaiba man ng grupo, ngunit nagkakaisa
Walang gulo, lahat ay masayang magkakasama
Walang inggitan, walang yabangan
Ganito ang mga grupong dapat tularan

Bottomline, the ride is so fun, we bike 130+km two-way. Kudos to my team. More rides to come mates! Shout out to Marikina, BGC and San Mateo Rizal for a having a bike lane, thank you for loving us.

Bike ride to Pantihan Falls Maragondon Cavite

I love biking slash cycling, I have a bike group in Las Piñas named Las Piñas Mountain Bike Group, it was created on January 13, 2017. Before, we used to ride in short distances only like Mall of Asia and Nuvali, but as the group is growing, long rides are expected every Sunday.

One of our destination is Pantihan Falls in Maragondon Cavite, it was a 130km ride, wew that was tiring but fulfilling! We ride out in BF Las Piñas at exactly 4:30 in the morning, and we arrived at 9:30 am. Everyone is so enthusiastic and excited to see the beautiful view of the said falls.
Entrance fee is 10 pesos and 10 pesos for the bike, the cottage is 300 pesos. You can also order food for 150 pesos per head, someone will cook for you. Expensive? Do not worry, there's a store outside the Falls where you can order food for cheaper price, the have cooked dishes, and they can also cook a rice for your group, canned goods and drinks are also available, plus fruits are all for free! Amazing isn't it?

                                                             Amazing View from here

                                                                  With Dragonfly :)

                                                          Thinking of something

                                                                             calm

                                                             With my beloved group

Pagbangon

Ngayon na ang simula nang pagbangon
Unti-unti na akong aahon
Hinding hindi na muli pang lilingon
Sa mga nakaraang malalim ang baon
Madami pang pwedeng mangyari
